Originally founded in 2018, this fun, unique bar service hit the ground running and its short legacy has been further extended by its new owners, Lisa & Bryan Preast, who purchased the business in April 2019.
With 20+ years combined experience in the high-end service industry both in Vail, Colorado and throughout the island of Maui, this enthusiastic couple has continued to strive in elevating the service and Aloha that Twisted Tiki brings. Since acquiring the business, they have continued to make upgrades to the Tiki bar structure, décor, and service further distinguishing it as one of Maui’s most exciting mobile bar services!
Twisted Tiki aims to take the traditional Tiki Bar concept and create their own version, with a twist! Carefully created to blend in and complement the venue’s surroundings, this Tiki bar on wheels is sure to make heads turn at any event! Designed with whitewashed bamboo, dark wood bar-tops, and vintage Japanese glass floats, you will find that the bar is also decorated with other various subtle Tiki treasures throughout. Perhaps the most iconic part of this mobile bar service is located on the backside of the bar and has what pretty much every bar wishes they had, rope swings! As you veer out into the sunset while sipping on your favorite tropical cocktail, there is no better way to end the day than to start swinging the night away.
After tasting over 100 different vintage Tiki cocktail recipes, we created three unique menus that have something for every palate and budget. A few favorites from our menu include the Halekulani cocktail which is a recipe created in the 1930’s from the famous House without a Key lounge located inside of the Halekulani Hotel on Waikiki Beach. Another one of their popular drinks is the Pago Pago, named after the capital of American Samoa. This mouthwatering cocktail originated in the 1940’s and is made with Hawaiian guava juice and finished with Ling Hui Mui rim which is bound to get your guests dancing. Lastly, who doesn’t think of a refreshing and colorful Blue Hawaiian when they think of coming to Hawaii!? Needless to say, the cocktail menu was destined to have this tasty favorite from the 1950’s featured on it.
